excellent new album by Faithfull, with half the songs
written by Polly Jean Harvey, other songs written by Nick
Cave and Damon Albarn (and a song by Jon Brion).

this album has really impressed me a LOT - the PJ Harvey
songs are easily identifiable as being very PJ, but Faithful
will have none of it and really makes the songs her own,
with her crooked, smoky voice..

it was interesting to hear the songs pj worked on (VERY PJ),
but i don't really care for marianne's voice enough to buy
the record, or even keep my mp3s really. just not my style.


i also thought it was really interesting the stink that nick
cave made over working on the same record as pj...marianne
had to beg beg beg him to keep at it...what a diva he is!
