i don't own that many jazz albums, a few compilations, miles
davis albums (the kind of albums someone whos interested but
haven't really explored the genre would have). one song that
currently gets me fired up is "Chet baker and stan getz -
the way you look tonight" - awesome tune

You seem retarded enough to emulate me. Would you like to be
the new "w M w". It's an honorary position handed like the
dread pirate roberts. I want to retire on xltronic but I
need a replacement before I do.

Miles Davis (of course) - Birth of the Cool

recordings.

Matvey, i've seen you mention that aksak maboul album a
million times on xltronic. It's a great album and you
obviously love it but i wouldn't call it jazz, it's all over
the place!

Have you all forgotten Thelonious Monk?

It's virtually impossible to pick one of his albums as a
favorite, but Genius of modern music vol 1 & 2, Live at the
It Club, Live at the Five Spot discovery! and Monk's Dream
are extremely good albums. Right now I have the best kicks
wit the brilliant box set The complete Prestige recordings.

I love that album too - Much of the credit for it must go to
the producer Teo Maceo, who also produced a lot of Monk's
albums.

O dear.... You seem to be very very intelligent since you
can find out if someone is retarded by reading someone's
abstract posts.... See where i come from.... And then
judge....

And mmmm... Well no... I wouldn't like to be your
replacement...... This is a burden i can't carry....
Sorry........
