My current favs are:

1(tied)- Blazing Saddles
1(tied)- Caddyshack

I was hoping you guys might have some suggestions of movies
that i may have not seen but are gut busting hilarious.

I totally disagree with the IMDB list. It is totally crap!

I really couldn't say and lets not forget that timeless
classic A Time To Kill.

Yeah that's a pretty bad list. It seems more like a 'best
films containing comedy elements' list. Eternal Sunshine 5th
place....? I really loved the film but it wasn't hilarious
by any means.

Interesting. I could disagree on the basis that the US very
rarely has good TV comedy.

Family Guy is the most recent show that has made me
seriously laugh out loud. Before that..... i cant remember.
Perhaps sifl and ollie in 94.

British Humor > US humor

I think the Austin Powers films are funny, particularly the
first two though the third has it's moments.

the third is my fav =oD

Dr. Evil: Are those fricken' sharks with fricken' laser
beams attached to their fricken' heads?

Goldmember: Dr. Evil, we still have the ultimate insurance
policy. May I present to you, the very sexual, the very
toite, Autin Power's fassia.
Dr. Evil: His what?
Number 2: His fassia Dr. Evil.
Dr. Evil: His ferder?
Goldmember: His fassia. You know, the fassia
Dr. Evil: You know Goldmember, I don't speak freaky-deaky
dutch. Okay perv boy?
Goldmember: Fassia, his dad, dad is fassia
Dr. Evil: Oh his dad, oh his FATHER.

I may have to go watch it now

I'd say I was familiar enough with both US and American
humour to say that shows are variably funnier. A recent
favourite of mine being Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Austin Powers: Mole! Bloody mole! We aren't supposed to talk
about the bloody mole, but there's a bloody mole winking me
in the face! I want to c-u-u-t it off, ch-o-o-p it off, and
make guacamole!
