...buying GTA: San Andreas and then finding out that there appear to be NO ps2s for sale in the UK :@ I went to every shop in town and they won't have any for at least a fortnight!! So, I was forced to win a 2nd-hand one on Ebay! How infuriating! |

That's a pile of shit Paul, the Gamestation by me has hundreds of them. They just released the slimline ps2 as well, didn't they? Must be Scottish shopkeepers holding out for drugs. Or something. |

anyone who is in the market for a brand new ps2 is dumb if they dont get the new re-designed one. However if you're going the cheap route, 2nd hand is okay, but I wouldn't do it. PS2s are shoddily made and have tons of defects. |

yeah I don't see the point of just getting a skinnier ps2 when the ps3 isn't far around the corner Just get the same console at twice the size for half the price |

I wouldn't doubt it. But my ps2 was brand new when i got it and its shit at playing PS1 games. I haven't really even moved it from its original spot when i first got it. maybe like twice, but seriously... Nintendo systems are the best imo, for quality and durability. |

I am pretty sure that i read that PS3 wont be around until 2006. They want to aim for an earlier date to give competition to XBOX2, but the dead earliest they are getting this out is Dec 2005 with "GTA4" being one of the release titles. That GTA bit was taken from an interview with Dan Houser. :) |

That really sucks, what a tease. But I still can't find GTA where I live. I rented for a week a couple of weeks ago, got far, loved it, and haven't played it since. I probably couldn't even rent it now even if I tried. I've never had so much trouble getting a game. Everybody and their mom's puppy wants it. |

ATTENTION ACHTUNG! the pstwo cannot run gta:sa - it overheats and crashes. this is confirmed. gta:sa has too much of a load for the pstwo - that is, the remodelled, smaller version of the ps2, and it crashes regularily, or will not even run the game at all. DO NOT BUY A PStwo WITH THE INTENTION OF PLAYING GTA:SA ON IT. |

At least ebay has it's own seperate uk site. And if you're a careful buyer a used one is better since you save money.. plus can often get a handful of games thrown in as well. |
