d/l a bit slow, could be my fault. I'll do a comprehensive
resume once i have inter-received it.

damn. those two first tracks are some of the best i've
heard, coming from a net label, in months. he's got a good
ceephaxy vibe going on, only much more elegant and subtle.

i remember his humpeIndenBeats where he did a good
impression of squarepusher. so i can only gather that wisp
must be a lost sibling of the jenkinsons(?)

i think i'm going to check the other earstroke mpfrees
tomorrow. thank you for the files and good luck with the
internet

i just noticed the above links dont work...

vlari: im thrilled you like it so much, and i agree with the
ceephax reference, he was actually listening to a lot of
that during the time in which he made it. thanks for
checking!

Fuckwagon: almost as good as the packaging? haha, i'll be
sure to commend the designer on his work. thanks!

Yeah I think Wisp is one of the most technically skilled
guys I've heard here or at WATMM - his stuff is always
perfectly put together, great sounds, great mix, overall top
notch production and fairly bland.

wow, i guess he discovered the handclap button on his casio!
:)

this ep has sort of a retro sound... 2-4 are my
favorites...

i dig most of these tracks, but i like his ep on
binkcrsh more overall.

imitate? i dont know about that.but i guess ido where my
influences on my sleeve.. thanks for listening though :-D

"wow, i guess he discovered the handclap button on his
casio!
:)"

that actually made me LOL. this album is an ode to my love
affair with the clap (not the bad clap though.the good
clap)

thanks everyone!

Liked it, liked it a lot, I shall be maintaining this on my
hardrive. Classic, unashamed braindance, "Flabby Smuts" is a
joy to behold. I am reminded, in a good way, of Astrobotnia,
without maybe the spacey element.

In summary: Great.

can we buy this stuff - you know, to support you and all?

packaging looks nice too, wouldn't mind a physical copy of
it.

xf, we plan on pressing and selling vinyl and cd's of this
in the near future. im glad you like it so much, i will try
to see if i can possibly come up with some limited copies
for the time being just to meet the immediate demand.

im thrilled everyone is giving it a chance, thanks again.

I'm a huge fan of Wisp's older stuff, but I didn't like this
new album... too brooding without enough melody, and all the
tracks sounded too similar, IMO.

i've just received the ok to press a limited copy of cd's of
Fungus Flap. the re-release includes an additional song
exclusive to the cd!

if you'd like to keep updated about this contact me and i
will add you to earstroke's mailing list. feel free to reply
here or email me: [info][at][earstroke][.][com]

dont worry, the mailing list only goes out if something
substantial happens, we dont just sit around writing emails
to bother people all day.

cheers

haven't heard ceephax yet, but if he likes afx as much as
wisp seems to, there's probably a reason to compare.

i'd like to hear more memorable melodies personally, but
this is quality stuff, fun to listen to and solid...
