simplicity.

you dont need technology for entertainment. and why do we
always have to be entertained?

i'd love to too.

i dunno. i just wanna live simple and free.

i love nature, outdoors.. middle of no-wheres. if i could, i
would. if i was capable.

i learnt a lot from that documentary.

Number things to do out there. It seems as though there
would be nothing to do.

1. hunting
2. spacing out
3. The essentials (eat sleep fuck)
4. reading books

I dont know about all that

just being!

that'd be the best.

no chaos, no structure.. no society, no laws.

just pure being. surviving. being back to nature.

definate mind adjustment.

but yea, i made this thread because the documentary is
good.. and pleasent to watch. not because im gonna go be a
deer in the forest. i knwo it'd be a huge adjustment and
with my experiences i probably wouldnt be able to do it.

but thank god for documentaries!

To live in a pristine land unchanged by man...
to roam a wilderness through which few other humans have
passed...
to choose an idyllic site, cut trees and build a log
cabin...
to be a self-sufficient craftsman, making what is needed
from materials available...
to be not at odds with the world, but content with one's own
thoughts and company...

Thousands have had such dreams, but Dick Proenneke lived
them. He found a place, built a cabin, and stayed to become
part of the country. This video "Alone in the Wilderness" is
a simple account of the day-to-day explorations and
activities he carried out alone, and the constant chain of
nature's events that kept him company.

And when the occasional TV production team comes to visit,
you can barter acorns for mars bars.
