so -- possibly i don't have enough board seniority to rally
anyone behind this idea, but.. i thought it might be cool if
we'd set up some sort of gift xchange -- either via amazon
wishlists or i dunno, someone will set up a random list of
who gets whom a present, and you pick something off their
list or something else entirely, i dunno

amazon wishlists sound okay?

$20-30 USD? should be enough for most books, cds, dvds

if it's amazon tho you just get some corporate package.. i
guess it would be nicer if people actually sent it
themselves

but if so it needs to be done asap, as xmas is in a month
and international shipping takes a while

LAST YEAR
we made something, picture, mp3 file, someting that could be

last year i got a real neat pictrure from Optimus Prime

a person would exchange the emails
then be like

person a, got person b and person c got person d

then near christmast we would send or post the presents in a
given thread

its not that i dont buy gifts for my friends, but this year
we aere xtra broke :(, and only my family will be getting
gifts

anyways...........i dont want something boring you can buy,
i would want sometingn they made from my xltronic.com
phriends

:)

We should do what we did last year. That was fun. I don't
think you will find many people who would spend money on
others here.

This is a stupid idea. I don't buy gifts for people I like
so you lot have no chance.

I think we should do a record exchange, without giving away
the titles.

Title as in name of the record, so they are surprised,
pleasantly maybe.
