as in the pretty cool record label... the site

well hey they've put out a whole shitload of brilliant stuff
over the years say for instance:

Aix Em Klemm
Bowery Electric
Jessamine
Low
James Plotkin
Mark Spybey
Windy and Carl
Stars of the Lid
Labradford
Pan American
Fontanelle

oh yeah and this year... my god...:
Christina Carter
Tom Carter
Charalambides
Greg Davis
Loscil
the Dead Texan
Growing
Brent Gutzeit (holy shit... he rules)
Dean Roberts
Keith Fullerton Whitman (again...)

and brand new and exciting: Autistic Daughters (composed of
Dean Roberts, Werner Dafeldecker, and Martin Brandlmayr)

so yeah, you know drone rock dronetronica... etc.

do you listen to Fennesz? do you ever wonder what happened
between My Bloody Valentine and Fennesz (well and then, you
know, after the Lilys, and Slowdive, and Ride, and stuff)?

you should listen to Kranky already...

It's a shame nobody has ever got news from Labradford
anymore. WTF happened to them? It's been 3+ years now.

Props to kranky. And of course that godspeed release is
amazing.

My favourite Kranky release must be Stars of the Lid, the
Tired Sounds of... its really something else.

Deadeight have you listened to the new Dead Texan record? I
heard it was one member of SOTL, any good?

I second that recommendation! If clouds needed theme music,
"The Tired Sounds" would fit the bill perfectly.

"Piano Aquieu" is pure bliss.

*thumbs up*

Yeah totally cloud music :)

I like 'Mulholland' a lot. Also the second part of 'Austin
Texas Mental Hospital' - I'm convinced that track has
physical healing properties. Believe me, give it a few
minutes and let it cleanse it away...
