Excellent soup.
- Take one can of baked beans. Drain away most of the juice.
- Put half the can into a pan. - Put half a can of baxter's or some similar non-english ministrone soup into the pan.
- Add garlic, pepper and tabasco sauce. Also maybe add balsamic vinegar / guiness / anything else you like. It's up to you, man!
- Bring to "pretty hot, almost boiling" on the cooker. - Grate cheese into the pan until it's all melted and the colour of the mixture looks kind of beige-ish.
- Beat two eggs in a cup until thoroughly scrambled, and then add to the mixture. Mix like crazy to avoid eggy lumps.
- Put into a large bowl, and crush a load of tortilla chips into the bowl (this is the only soup i've ever encountered which does not go well with toast) and munch rapidly.
Eat with a glass of something beery at hand.
Awesome.
