each day when i launch firefox all my bookmarks are gone.
those imported from IE and those that ive made as new ones
in firefox.
theres no option for profiles, theres no profiles at all, so
whats the problem ?

is it because its a preview version ? so when they will
launch full one ?

It seems alot of extentions are WIP
Works In Progress
Extreme Tech's 10 Top Extentions
and a "new" Mozilla/Firefox theme/extention site
Update
I'll be trying 1.0 later on...

HOLY SHIT
This thing is FAST!!!!!
Some things I already noice, in comparison to Mozilla:
1. It adds some kind of "alpha blending animation" to some
pages and the download manager (Kickass, as I'm using 98SE)
2. It's alot faster
3. Much more customizable
4. Better looking themes
5. Smaller throbber (good)

I just wish the "Latest Headlines" entry on the bar was put
in the Sidebar, or was more customizable...
Here's some cool tricks for hidden settings:
type "about:config" in the address bar w/o the quotes, of
course
type "about:mozilla" and see what happens :D
last, type "about:plugins"

OH
Where the !@#$%^ do you add / manage a new profile?
Help doc didn't say a single word about the profiles..
strange.
Also, it didn't import my bookmarks correctly :(

There seems to be a problem with removing the default RSS
Feeds... I don't want BBC News Feeds.
However I could remove the whole damn folder...
The "Sage" Extention looks promising though. Answered my
question about putting the feeds in the Sidebar.

I had the problem regarding loss of IE favourites, too,
Marcin. Luckily, when I used Netscape, I imported my IE
favourites, so I just imported my Netscape Bookmarks no
problem.

profiles have somewhat been taken out of firefox. not
completely, but the profile manager is way buried. i'm not
sure how you get to it.

hy, it sounds like your preferences aren't being written to
your profile directory, so whenever you restart firefox, it
looses whatever changes you've made.

check that this folder exists:
C:\Documents and Settings\[your.username]\Application
Data\Mozilla

if it does, close Firefox, rename the folder to something
like "MozillaOLD" or whatever, then restart Firefox.

If it recreates the folder everything should be golden.

I had exactly the same problem, but I found this worked, to
get to the Profile manager use the command line and stick
in

“C:\Program Files\path\to\firefox\firefox.exe” -p

which brought up the Profile Manager, I deleted the default
profile and made a new one, WALLOP, favourites worked again,
though I had to import again.

Oh sorry, but make sure Firefox isn't running at the time
you do the above, if you do the above.
