I know this thread's ancient but they've got a new album out
Monday, I'm listening now and it's pretty damn fine if u
like that sorta thing, I think some of they're stuff is
fuckin great, wish they'd been around when I were lad :(

they're a bit shit, I think. and they have that annoying
styled nonchalance thing that English bands in particular
seem to be interested in - long hair styled to look unkempt,
beards designed to look undesigned but looking the most
designed EV4R, etc.

but that's just me.

why do you say "wish they'd been around when I were a lad"?
can't you like them now?

good for them they weren't around when I was a lad, all the
grunge bands would've ripped their internal organs out.
except for Pearl Jam, who, let's face it, never really were
grunge. or any good, for that matter.

err I do like them now, that's was kinda why I made the
post,

When I were lad, The Stone Roses were all the rage, a band
that I've always been dissapointed in, how the fuck can u
rave to that shite?
Kasabian on the other hand different story, great club
music, and I don't give a toss what they look like, never
even seen em to be honest, I just like the tunes.

it's alright, heard it about 3 times now, just good heads
down rock n roll, but the thing with Kasabian is the
electronic stuff is really well done, and for thst sort of
music is definitely bordering on cutting edge, especially in
the production, you can slag it all you like but it kicks
ass in the right situation, there's no denying, that guy
sounds edgy as fuck.

I did kind of enjoy their first album, in the sense that I
listened to it for a few months and will probably never
listen to it again. club foot, processed beats, cut off...
they are nice tracks, and I dont really give a fuck about
their band persona, but I suppose its not really my thing
enough for me to care

They blow and suck at the same time. It's like the worst
parts of the the last 15 years of indie-dance compressed
into a Protools file marked "liamnoel90675".

Hmmmm. and considering the only band you were able to
reference in this very considered obvservation were Oasis,
who let's face it haven't been heard in any club worth it's
salt for about 8 years, tells me that you're probably "out
of the loop" regarding this sort of music anyway.

Still lovin the Kasabian, new album more banging, shades of
early Underworld in there, first album has elements of boc
don't ya know ;)

Hmmmmm....you are gay. They sound like 90s indie dance
failures like Regular Fries, Campag Velcet, etc and act like
Oasis. Have you ever seen an interview with them? They
remind me of that Kevin The Teenager sketch were Kevin and
Perry get into Oasis and start acting like dickheads.

YOU WANT MORE OF THIS?!?!?!?!?!
