student over here...which was a big disappointment, since
they normally pick exellent music :)

he's an awesome musician. i really like most of what i've

chilled out album.

I love his stuff, my favourite release is 'Extinguished'.
The tracks are short but full of great ideas, gets the
point accross better than the album i think. He has become
a lot more diverse, the first album used a lot of similar
sounds and rhythms, now he's got his game together.

yeah...but we better skip the music tastes.
i have long in mind to do a project like he does, but more
like akufen with hip hop beatz.

they call that blip hop or click hop..whatever.

ah, i thought you're thinking about the new S&S...it's
called manana and it's surprisingly 100% latin.

i used to like blip hop...got a bit boerd of it. maybe i'll
start liking it again someday.

i'll leave now :)

listening to extinguished as we write...i think that his
approach towards music is really smart.
just look that 95% of the musicians do tracks that last for
like 5-8 minutes which is way too much for something that's
looping.
doing music that last 1-2 minutes is fucking awesome...you
can express yourself to the fullness and have killer tracks
with no repeating just --------->

okay, i thought you referred to it as the manana release
seeing as they use that word throughout the album? maybe
i've been listeneing to too much manu chao. is apropat not
all spanish?

it's a glitch image

and i didn't mean nothing bad by my previous statement...S&S
is exoerimental jazz if you ask me.
it has all of the essences of jazz and experimental glitch

!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is NOTHING like jazz (u ever listened to jazz???) and
it's NOTHING like experimental, it's already been heard and
digested aaaaaages ago!

delarosa is his best stuff imo, not really into anything
else, savath puts me to sleep and i like prefuse only
sometimes.

it.

objective description of s&s: able and capable of creating
music which is both subtle and warm, but unable to sustain a
volume loud enough that will keep the human animal awake
during sessions of exposure.

maybe you're just not sensitive to it then? jazz is
incandescent. s+s isn't. an objective descrpition i couldn't
give indeed.

if you say so i won't think of you as a serious jazz
listener
