why cant you make the channels go through but one reverb

You'll need several instances of the same plugin... but why
not use is as a send effect?

My personal favourite is SIR reverb. Its a little hard to
use but is superior to all the other free reverbs around
IMO.

instead of running a track through it?

Its when the effect exists independently and you can run as
many or as few channels through the it. I usually have just
the one reverb for an entire project.

yes! that's what i meant, that must save cpu :), and you can
tweak for the different channels too?
what kinda reverb plugins do that? just the regular fruity
plugin for instance?

Well I think it must depend on your host. In Cubase you can
assign pretty much any effect as a send. I'm not
experienced with fruity so I cant be much help I'm afraid. I
would have thought its possible though.

i wanted to say that since my last track i dont use 'high
quality for plugins' anymore when rendering because i end up
with more reeverb than ininitially planned
