...I told Draaihund to post another topic, and then I'd ban him, but I banned him without even letting him do THAT, or even warning him.
*schwing
Anyway, it's been a while since I've been around much, and I wanted to know what everybody is listening to, I want to get into some more music. And there's a lack of music topics. I like starting these ''albums of the moment'' topics on messageboards, they're usually quite fruitful for me. Be fruity.
I guess I've been listening to a lot of gay '60s pop lately, and some post punk. Been listening to Pylon- ''Hits'' since I woke up, I dig it. Nice dancey machinetic post punk, I guess. But in place of a cold male voice, it's a sexy vixen. I HOPE she's sexy. I hate hearing a hot voice and then looking at a picture of the band and seeing some chubby girl. Lots of Kitchens of Distinction, too. I like their normal day, heavy situation lyrics.
But I recently got into a group called the Free Design who is probaby going to secure a place in my top 10 artists of all time, but it's twee 60's sunshine pop and I don't know how many would like it. Best harmonies ever, though, and really involved arrangements. I think ''Bubbles'' is the best song that's been mentioned on this messageboard in 2 years.
Gimme something to listen to.

On the bus today I got to another dimention in Elliot Smiths "Figure 8".
Wouldn't mama be proud. Fantastic song. And the title should be in everyone's head when they choose to start a new topic.
I'm becoming this grumpy old guy...

hi.
What has Draiihund done? i haven't seen something very bad from him, only "normal day-to-day depravity".
music - check this out - kotra downloads page. The guy is from Kiev and makes lots of noise, sometimes good, sometimes hard to dig.
and here is another ukrainian artist download page Zavoloka - she makes something less aggressive, beautiful mess.
i posted these links before, but why not do this again. it's something new, i think.

Awesome album, my favorite by Elliot. I remember when he stabbed himself in the heart.
Matvey- Zavaloca, that's some interesting sounds, one of them was at a weird frequency (second track) and hurt my ear. But it's almost 7AM and I need to go to bed. I'll check the rest out tomorrow, thanks.

Check out the Moon for top 60s pop. Been listening to that a fair bit, though not in the last fortnight.
I'm currently listening to Pioneer Soundtracks by Jack for the first time in ooh ages, but quietly cos I'm not feeling to well.
