Exhibition/Project Music

I'm kind of just throwing this one open to all. I'm an
architecture student in London and we are currently working
on redeveloping Crystal Palace (don't know if many of you
know the area). But the site is on a bit of decline, but it
has quite an amazing stage, completely disused. My group and
i are going to be in touch with the local council and as
architects we want to examine how music could potentially
break the oppressive boundaries the
site/politics/infrastructure create at its perimeter.

To cut along story short, would anyone be interested in
doing some Crystal Palace inspired music to potentially be
played at the venue, or towards an exhibition that will be
held in London in December/January

My whole project at the moment revolves around mapping how
users are prepared to use the site and what they can gain
from it. Breaking boundaries imposed by the site is the key,
so if anyone wishes to do music with that sort of concept,
or has music with that sort of concept, then please let me
know.

It would be great if your a londener and know the site, if
not, I could always send you over some info one the site for
inspiration.

I used to live in Penge, go out in Crystal Palace of a
night, it's got a lot better in the last few years, some
very nice bars.... as a child my dad would take me to see
the old Dinosaurs. COUNT ME IN! Oh, and tell me more.

I'm working on building a website at the moment for the
project. This gives all the info about Crystal Palace so the
public can give their opinions on the whole site and
political situation. That should be uploaded at the weekend.

I think I would be interesting to see how sound/music
inspired from the site itself takes a line of flight to the
exterior zones to bring whatever you feel required. Some
people may want to bring awareness, others may want to
promote football, concerts, drugs, rading under a tree
etc......... I guess its all about expressing what you
beleive is required at Crystal Palace and how musically
you'd do it.

Like I say i'd get this music then hopefully played at a
concert in Crystal Palace. But definately at an exhibtion in
the Architectural Association
