Deceptive Philodendron First impression: this must be the electronic version of this random opera i once heard..., and it kinda is...sounds moving around without any constant beat. There might be some few good parts, but it's all like oh! that sounds good, wait, now it's gone
Rabbit Spaghetti Again, very random in my ears. The samples give's no deeper meaning... I get some of the feelings you express, by reversing old tapes.
Chovies Deuce At the end we have a little more beat than the previous tracks, but it's a little too monotone. You need some transpose to get my attention.
Arabian Oilcan I like the start of this very much. It has some melodic features, which where lacking in your previous tracks on this "EP".
But then the randomness strikes again, and I feel that I really have to be into the dark side of ambient to get it.
Kennecott Orlandofall Again, a good melodic intro. The timesignature and BPM of the beats keeps on shifting throughout the track(s), so it seems that the beat around 1:00 goes directly to the veins in my head and gives me a headache.
OVERALL: I'm probly the wrong person to review this, 'cause I'm too little into stuff like this. What I can say is, is that you have great control over your effects and VST's, and if you used that talent on some plain beats, you would probly be able to do a lot of cool havoc.
On this "EP" I can only say this: If your heading for an audience, you might have to look hard, but if your heading towards just making music that makes you happy, your on the right track.
And another thing; sampling cellphones is cool, but keep it to one track (like a theme) so it wont sound to used

thanks for checking it out Junktion , you are correct , in that i understand there is no audience for what i choose to do , aside from myself and a handful of cough syrup addled freaks.
i am curious in regards to your comment about sampling cellphones , because no cellphones were sampled in this ep. what sound are you reffering to exactly , so i know what i overused ?

it's just me with the cellphones i think :)
I was so sure that you sampled a newer nokia @ 2:22 in Deceptive Philodendron...and then again in a later track...it doesn't sound overused, it's just that it reminded me of the same ringtone ;)

son of a bitch , i stand corrected. good fucking call on that one ... i forgot that sound was in there , at 2:02 though .. of said track , there is a sample of a ringtone slowed down that plays for 2 or 3 seconds .....
here , ive uploaded the original sample i used for that sound ... is this what you were talking about ?
LAZY_TITLE
and one more question , did you like the drill and bass segment of track 4 [starting around 7:30] OR DID IT SOUND TERRIBLY DONE ? Thank you.

it's funny 'cause i was thinking of a totally different ringtone (that my friend uses)
well, that drill-part sounds ok, but I would probly' put some distortion on it.
I wish the melody and drums loop at 8:46 would keep on forever, 'cause it sounds good

yeah i could always do a remix of the track or something ....
i re read your original post , the part about "There might be some few good parts, but it's all like oh! that sounds good, wait, now it's gone " ... When im making chunes , im torn over shit like this. For some reason , i feel like i have to be a mastermind and not let any sounds or beats repeat themselves more than once. Itys like , everything has to be cut up , differnt from bar to bar or else it feels like im cheating , or not putting hard work into the track by letting something repeat. however there is tone of repetitive music i really love. so i suppse the trick is to find the balance , between , letting a part play for a while when its good so people can get they groove ons , however dont let it become too cheesy and repetitive ?! fuck it who knows. My next ep will be a completely different mess , the styles change drastically ovewr the days and weeks. anyone else out , cou\ld please download the fucking thing and , because i truly need constructive criticxsmcsz as junktion ddid , to better my self as an electyronic musician.
