what with the gary larson topic, i feel its necessary to pay homage to the other great late 80's/early 90's comic "Calvin and Hobbes". now someone with image posting capabilities, post some funny.

Its great, i have a few "whole" books of C+H, however its gonna be hard to post them here, as most of the run longways left to right, as opposed to Far Side which is generally one rectangle that fits perfectly into xltronic.

agreed.
it's a philosophy (appropriately enough . . .)
it's part of my personal religion
i miss it, but at the same time, i'm glad he didnt drag it out. it's perfect in every way . . .

i also own 10 C & H books... i'm sure there are several duplicate strips though.
I don't own Yukon Ho!, but I think that may be the only major collection that i'm missing.

i have all the books, and my favorite has always been the lazy sunday book. his sunday strips were the best, really well drawn and colored.

i think 'the authoritative' is my fave.
his sunday strips were great, mostly because he seemed to spend more time on the illustration, but i love the condensed humor in the three celled weekday strips.
remember the series where they found the little opposum and it ended up dying?.. fucking gut wrenching.

Nice. Yesterday I re-read the original collexion of Calvin + Hobbes. I've always loved it - I think my family had all the books between us - I also have a neat C + H tee-shirt, and downloaded all the collexions in electronic format.
