, and everyone i see in the street or elsewhere looks
bored/pissed off, i've got boring hard work to do and some
other little embarrassing/annoying things i don't even care
about enough to list. i don't know how the weather is where
you live, but it barely gets more dull than this here; it
makes me in a state of such apathy i'm not even willing
nor unwilling to work nor eat nor do anything... i
don't even really hate this, i'm not even sad or
uncomfortable, being pissed and apathetic just seems the
right state of mind to be in now. fucking autumn.

really, i'd give weird looks to anyone who'd be full of
stamina, happy, angry or anything else than bored, pissed,
sad, sulky, jaded etc. today...

(i'm not even ashamed about the title of this thread, if
it's something you think i should be ashamed of - nor about
the fact that it's completely pointless)

All the leaves are brown
And the sky is grey
I went for a walk
On a winter's day
I'd be safe and warm
If I was in L.A.
California dreamin'
On such a winter's day

I stopped into a church (stopped into a church)
I passed along the way (passed along the way)
You know, I got down on my knees (got down on my knees)
And I pretend to pray (I pretend to pray)
Oh, the preacher likes the cold (preacher likes the cold)
He knows I'm gonna stay (knows I'm gonna stay)
Oh, California dreamin' (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day

All the leaves are brown (the leaves are brown)
And the sky is grey (and the sky is grey)
I went for a walk (I went for a walk)
On a winter's day (on a winter's day)
If I didn't tell her (if I didn't tell her)
I could leave today (I could leave today)

Oh, California dreamin' (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day (California dreamin')
On such a winter's day

i love autumn. probably my favourite season. the leaves here
in canada turn vibrant shades of yellow and red.

i was walking through a trail yesterday along the river and
a deer came by munching on some leaves... i wasn't expecting
anything like it at all. it renewed my love of nature and
the cycle of life.

the smell of fireplaces, the chill of approaching winter...
these inspire me. sit back and take a minute and relfect.
savour those small instances.

i heard that in canada, the indian summer is very
beautiful... but here it's over and now it's just dull,
even if there are some beautiful red leaves from time to
time on the ground they're just beautiful by themselves,
alone and get dirty quickly. pretty much everything else is
wet, cold and grey.

i like winter though... with the naked trees and usually
"silvery" (without the shine) skies... especially when it's
snowy...

i hate winter unless its snowing. everything looks barren
and desolate.
autumn is nice though.

when i was little and had a morrning paperr rround, (i
didn't last long), it was much betterr doing them when it

coldish dullness.

I wish the weather'd just get on with it and be freezing and
foggy. It's too cold to wear a thin coat but too sweaty to
wear my big parka and selection of toasty hats. Mind you, i
haven't left the house all day, just been sitting around
feeling sorry for myself with a terrible hangover, so grim
old autumn hasn't affected me much.
