wouldn't it be great? this would be in a big club, preferably the museum H.R. Giger bar in Switzerland () there would be a DJ in the biggest room mixing all of our favourite tunes, with big screens on every wall playing various videos from the warp visions dvd (sound muted ofcourse, but if anyone would want to hear the music there'd be headphones for each video playing). sexy ladies with afx, plaid and æ tattoos and wearing thongs would serve us delicious food and expensive champagne (and a bit of weed for the potcrew). some of them would have RDJ face masks on like in the end of the windowlicker video, just to make it a little freaky. in the other rooms electronic artists would be playing live. Room 1 for AFX (DJ-ing or live) where his rhubarb teddy bears would be dancing around us (we would even get the chance to wear one) and midgets fighting eachother and handing out RDJ masks and pink swimming caps. Room 2 Squarepusher shouting and playing his bass while stomping on pomme de terre. Room 3 Autechre explaining insightfully the meaning of confield through vocoders (home built ofcourse) Room 3 BOC playing material from their forthcoming album. And so on... this is one of my ideas for the big party. if you have any further ideas to express then speak out! |

bergen is in Norway. Bergen is surrounded by seven mountains... or something.. I've never actually counted the mountains, but to me, most of them seem to be connected as one whole mountain... |

sounds good. but afx, squarepusher and ae playing at the same time? and we should ofcourse have rooms for livesets from the dedicated members of the board as well. i'm pretty new on this board and have just discovered the quality of the members of xltronic compilations. great stuff! most of it though. the last one (12) f.x. i did'nt like that much.. |
