Hello.

Who wants to join me in the "I Like Jackass Club"?

I'm pretty sure mr._belch is in.

let's all hail these dumb guys who did stupid stuff (and
some still do) and made me laugh because I'm inherently just
as dumb a guy as they are.

I don't want to embarrass myself by being first to join,
however, yeah duuuude. Last weekend I received the jackass
book..... off of Amazon....a very good read whilst one... is
in bed. Or the bath. I also got Steve-O "The early years"
DVD, but that...eeee, strictly for the fan, not much in the
way of .... stunts...or anything. Steve-O III "Out on bail"
is much better. But um, oh and I downloaded finally the
Jackass Gumball Rally 3000 special. Oh and the MTV Cribs
Jackass edition, I really enjoyed that..... I don't need
real friends when I have my Jackass dvds and memorabilia.
Did I say I have the soundtrack? And a t-shirt?

I downloaded the first series.. and all the bits with Bam
Margera attacking his father just crack me up.

says "rob zombie".

Have you seen "Viva la Bam"? That's wall to wall attacking
his parents. I am more of a Party Boy Steve-O fan, those are
the friends I never had.

Oi, Orphecks, after you mentioned Onibaba the other day I
had to go and buy it. Cheers sir for reminding me!

what a great insult. carry on in your inane life of
"appreciating" acts of self loathing as entertainment and
see how far it gets you.

clearly you are not if you find this funny. yet again you
redirect the opposite opinion as something evil or wrong.

yeah, I do like "Viva la Bam", but the second season got to
be a bit too 'showy'.

I don't like "Wildboyz" much. I don't like all that crap
with animals, although I do like Pontius and Steve-O.

well, I'm pretty sure I'm having more fun than you..!

for one I'm not the one needing to enter a thread called "I
Like Jackass Club" to spout my negativity..

I think the script for Wildboyz is "Run naked towards
animal. Repeat" But still the force of those screen titans
personalities compells me to watch. Everytime Jackass gets
mentioned I have to watch it again, I think I've got issues
in my life that would benefit from being addressed. Or not.

i think it can be jokes , i'm sorry but if you don't find
certain parts funny you just have no sense of humour -
scatological humour is ingrained in us from birth ... even
my english lit teacher says so!

though the joke just went too far, and all those spin offs
and cash ins like dirty shitey can fuck off.

nontheless there is a time and a place for that style of
nonsense and that is stoned at 1 am on a friday night when
you can't be arsed to go upstairs and get a decent film /
cd/ record.

I recall the first time I saw it on the tv, being horribly
drunk one friday night. It was just the genius touch of
having people's names come up as they embarked upon their
"stunt", the fruitlessness, the umbridled revelry in just
being an ass, the employing of anonymous municiple and
commercial spaces as the setting for their glorious open
ended dramas, the sheer bollocks on display.... I am in
tears, i could eulogise at great length, instead...

i like it. but not like super into it. not to seem like a
super-hipster, but i like the cky stuff better (also, this
could be because i saw it before jackass and i was a bit
younger and more impressionable)

cky had a lot less johnny knoxville if i remember. that's a
plus.

wild boys is interesting too.

Seeing a Real Man staple his testicular sac to his leg has
scarred me for life, i think. Thanks, jackass. And i mean
that with true sincerity.

It's a bit of a laugh innit... It's not like when I first
saw it and I was in hysterics at every episode.
