from slsk... but is it a fake or not? acid sounds in the
universal indicator style.

at first listen it seems pretty boring (and i like acid
music).

what you think?

\/\/.

it's either jaroen jacking off to yellow calx or the acid
whitelabels from cylob set

so the answer is no

Is this why Dobbin left, because of the heartache he's
caused with his Analord edits?

ok, track 2 is better than 1, but if these trakcs are by AFX
I would be disappointed.

if someone want to download these tracks... WooferAttack,
inside the folders AphexTwin/Analord10/

my guess is that those 2 tracks are ceephax acid crew tracks
(if you are talking about the acid white labels)

hum...
for me they are edit if the live shows, but it could very
well be the songs, cylob played them when i saw him and it
sure sounds like afxacid,
this isn't ceephax acid
these are no final version but i have a feeling it is
them...

the second track is definitly not Ceephax its AFX.

If it is ceephax then..man is that a rip off of AFX style.

the first one me dont like at all, cheezy acid, but the
second got a lot of melodies and som flava.

I would get dissapointed tho even if the second track was
one of the analord tracks because its so simple, anyone
could do that track on any software :(

"anyone

i thought the reason richard was going back to hardware is
beacuse most of the yuppies these days find themselves doing
"anything" with software, and didn't know jack about
hardware. So he's going back to the hardware where 95% of
the "music makers" (lol) can't follow him

you know it isn't always about making complex tracks with
very intricate programming that nobody could replicate...

i love old aphex because of it's simplicty and minimalism
yet very powerful emotional content and presence
his old tracks, you can recognise the sound used everywhere
and the melodies and beats are more than easy to reproduce,
but try to replicate that feeling he has in his tracks and
you'll fail miserably, that's what made him a good as fuck
producer with the aura he still has now imo

i think he may be trying to return to a more pure sound and
focus more on basic elements, i'll see if it's to my taste
=)

you are perfectly right. effort is always going into
production, into sophisticated beat programming, unusual
effects and all that stuff and noone can create a melody.
lack of musicality, that is. example: zeus, counterexample:
fuckwagon
