Is this track intended as a diss or a nod to Mr. Devine? Discuss?

Call me uncool, but what is this a reference to?
And he is actually a teacher now, not a student. He is extremly smart, and a very cool guy.

How is it a diss?
I like Richy Devine. He does tend to whore himself out alot, though(designing presets for NI and stuff like that).

Each of his releases has one good track. Put them together and you'd have a decent EP.
But he's a great sound designer and cobbling up presets for NI doesn't strike me as a misuse of his talents.

at some schools there is no such grade as A+, so you could take it as a dis, basically he is too perfect or whatever, but i am not too familiar with venetian snares so i dont know, on another note, i like all of devines stuff, imo his best is asect dsect and he keeps getting better with each release.

Why does everyone diss richard devine? His stuff is more cutting edge than anything richard d james and squarepusher could do combined, and the compositional ellements in the way he textures his beats are mindblowing.
Go see him live. All the beauty and complexity you could imagine, with a stronger energy than any punk, rock, or metal band could conjure.
