OK people Beak and myself did a track together, it's
downtempo guitarish hiphop cutup loveliness.
Oh man I just said loveliness.

This is one of the first filesending collabs I've ever been
part of so it was really different for me.

But! We both like it, so download it!

Beak vs Orange Dust - Put Fire In Me
Hope you cats dig it too.

It sounds more diluted than furthering other paths. Is it a
first attempt at this or a compromise?

You know what? chicken butt!

Just messing! Anyways i really like what you guys did here.
Although i think it is missing some things. I would really
like some more effects to bring this track alive.

It feels like it is missing something.

Example Listen to Telefon Tel Aviv's _ farenheight fair
enough like track 1 and 2. All those effects wizzing around.
That is something you should impliment.

I do like it but i can help but feel like there is something
missing. I think that you could tie it all together.

Thats my thoughts. What do you think? I would really like to
hear that

why do you tend to react overly defensive to comments that
are not all "yay"?

Why do you always show up in my threads making smart
comments?
Seriously guys does he do this to anyone else?

Do you mean what do I think in regards to the track we wrote
or the track you mentioned?
Because I haven't heard the tune you mentioned (but I
understand what you mean by fx) and I like the track we
made.
I think... that's about it!

it's pretty good. i like it, but it's missing something and
i'm not quite sure what. i can tell a lot of work went into
making it and i can feel that a lot of fun was had putting
it together. i like your other stuff better though.

nice work. bump

I kinda know what people mean.
I could have put some stronger chorus type parts in there
that I think would have filled it out more but let's
remember it's a collab between me and beak and I'd decided
to work with the samples he'd sent me. I didn't want it to
turn into another od track wikth some cameo guitar parts in
it.
Sorry for the attitude, I'm having a bad morning and let's
just face it I'm an asshole.

Cheers people!

qrtr is generally a bastard, so why would you want to worry
about what he thinks? I don't.

Interesting about the telefon tel aviv comment, i always
felt like they just have too much shit flying around and it
gets too distracting. That's what keeps them from
perfection in my opinion. That and that R&B bullshit they
pulled on the last record.

Anyway, this track is really fucking good, od_step_cloak.
The guitars are really down home and go well with your
production. The "thing missing" people are talking about is
maybe another layer of guitar built into it as it
progresses. I'm sure if you had limited samples to work
with, it made it a little challenging to fill this space.
Nevertheless, after two or three listens, the track sounds
really good and works very well as-is.

I really like it. It feels original.
