I havent bought this yet and I really LOVED the first 3
games, and Im just wondering if anyone here has played it
through yet.. or at all for that matter, thoughts?

It's great. The story and theme is by far the best thing
about it, way better than Silent Hill 3.

But the gameplay is the worst in the series. Because you can
only carry so many ittems, travelling to and from your
apartment for the storage box gets tedious (but the
apartment itself is interesting). Fucking pointless... the
game was fine before. This doesn't add any difficulty or
strategy to it, so why bother? Just annoying. You also have
someone following you for half the game, and she's
infuriatingly stupid.

But who plays these games for the gameplay, anyway... the
environments are spooky, the enemies are disgusting and
horrific, the story is interesting and just gets better and
better the further you get, the graphics are beautiful (the
character models are out of this world), the music is
perfection, the atmosphere and mood are disturbing... 10/10.


Not as good as Silent Hill 1 and 2, slightly better than 3.

ophecks:: thanks buddy..... I needed to hear that,, cause Im
gonna buy Silent Hill 4, and a few other games around Xmas
this year to satisfy my gaming needs.... need something new!


Silent Hill rules..

oh and GTASanAndreas was pushed back as far as release
dates, to November if im correct??? Anyone know?

I've only played the first one. It was good, though. I have
the feeling that i should keep up with all these Amazing
Gaming Trends, but i don't want to waste any more of my
life.

And on an unrelated note: nice to see yer missus ricci
