...with this track, or should I break it up and
feed it to the pigeons?

This is the first new thing I have done in a while and I
dunno whether it is worth carrying on with, so please be
brutally honest.

sounds great to me, though as usual it cuts off right when
something badass should start happening and the track hits
its main stretch. you ass. Violate your sensibility one of
these days and just blast through a whole track. Not that I
disapprove of the micromanagement--the results are great.
You experiment with more sustained sounds often? Always
lots of bleepy stuff. My memory may be failing here. oh
goodness, why is my computer smarter than me?

More sustained sounds? Yes...occassionally, however I get
bored too quickly and they end up blippy. I start out with
good intentions though :P

I think the way forward is to add a fat break beat but not a
really generic one.

Cheers Skinkle...I never considered that, but now that you
mention it I will definitely investigate, could be
interesting :)

sneak: This is what happens before I turn shit
blippy

I like - it's very Logan's Run somehow. Put some soaring
brass over it for the full 70s effect.

Points: 24805 Status: Lurker | Show recordbag

haha so now I have to add a soaring brass and a big beat :D

thanks for listening.

even though I don't think it sounds like autechre.

if you dont do it then it will never happen. Is there a
place where I can get hold of more of your stuff?

I like this track. I would prefer it if it was approx. 7x50
seconds though.

my brutal advice: fuck off, make your own decisions.
seriously though; leave the track for what it is and listen
to it again in a week with new and fresh ideas/points of
view.
it's way too early to say whether the track is utter
crap/genius.
