i know it's silly, but sometimes some of you come up with real smart comments even on topics like this :) if you'd get to pick between two girls/guys, would you pick the one your mind thinks is the right one, or would you pick the one that warms your heart?...ofcourse this is only hypothetical :) |

well if i was depending on the relationship to be one of the major sources of my happiness for an indefinite period, i would go with the mind... if i was not depending on the relationship as such, i'd probably go with the heart... these days my heart is really being unfair to me and my current choice (which feels like a choice of the mind these days)... |

both must stimulate me in order to make a decision. but if i have to make a decision, i'd have to say that the mind is more important to me. when your heart is filled, its almost like infatuation and seems to never last as long as someone with a beautiful mind. friendships last far longer, and, unless you manage to completely fuck it all up, will probably benefit you more in the end. but that's only my opinion. heart and mind are so close, i don't think one could completely be affected without the other one being stimulated as well... depends on if your talking about physical attraction as opposed to emotional. i don't think either will end up in tears, it is what you make of it. |

" it's either i didn't explain it properly, or you understood me wrong :) it's kinda hard to explain..so first the 'mind one' - when you think about it and realize that she's just the kind of person you imagine it would fit you perfectly, because you've got so much in common..when your perceptions are almost exactly the same, when you understand each other without needing to talk for hours, because you just think alike...you know, soul mates. and then there's the 'heart' one - when you have almost no common interests, you have different perceptions on things, when you even dislike some of the things the other one cares for...but whenever you're together you both have fun and good time...and it makes you feel good... the thing is ive had bad experience with 'heart' ones so far, coz it's great as long as it lasts, but when/if it fades away you're in trouble..and i haven't been with one my mind would be telling me is the right one..i hope this makes some sense, otherwise sorry for the trouble of reading this :) |
