Is Xepha the one which has what sounds like a MIDI harp? Or
is that 'On' itself?

Are you making the same mstake I did which was to confuse
Xepha with X-tal?

no, but I'll admit to the implied failure that
recommendations don't really match it .. I don't know songs
that sound too similar to xepha, so I just picked remotely
similar, good tracks. Kinda stupid I know ..

If "xepha" is one of the trackskskz off classics, i
recommend you simply smash a tramp's face in with a large
hammer. It produces a similar sound and an even better
feeling.

It's no failiure, any mention of Quino-Phec is worthy of
naked admiration. It's just I listed of some tracks,
realised I was on about X-tal, oh you get the sorry picture.
I can't think of anything like Xepha, but I get the idea of
moody tracks... I can only think of things I heard many
years ago but never found out what they were, and is that
any help, no. I wish someone could tell me who did this
track that had a sample that went "I am the sky, who are
you?" ohh lush. The moodiest techno is the original version
of What Time is Love? by the KLF.

"Classics" really should have been called "All the tracks by
Aphex Twin we hold the rights to + the most absurd excuse
for putting Didgeridoo on twice by giving one of them the
spurious title of Live in Cornwall"

by the way, in response to another post of yours.. stone in
focus bothers me the same way vletrmx does--too repetitive
without at least some undercurrent of subtle evolution.
Grass is like that too.. though with enough mix-up and
internal tension to swing it better .. . . . . eh

I want to see a video of one of those recently discovered
"colossal squids" kicking the shit out of a sperm whale

It's odd with "Stone in Focus", it is minimal but it sounds
expansive, I don't know if it's the poverty of my
imagination, it probably is, but it strikes a chord deep
within, quite literally, and I could hear it looped forever.
I can't justify it, it's like Quino-Phec, both tracks are
five years too short.

There was one of these Big Squids found on the beach here (I
say here, this country I mean) and they thought it was an
alien. It was worse, it was a Big Squid.

Xepha is on 'ON' I believe. It sure as hell ain't on the
awesome CLASSICS.

Stone In Focus is like a psychological mirror, only the
reflection is a shitload more satisfying.

You wouldn't be thinking of syzygy - i am the sky on rising
high records would you? I haven't got a clue but my mate
reckons that is the track you might be on about and I can't
check because fucking soulseek is down.

Paul you are correct, Xepha is indeed off the On single.

syzygy - i am the sky on

Oh my god, after 9 years of wondering... I have a very
"real" feeling you're right. ... this is like, i have tears,
in my coal-red eyes...
