The last 2minutes or so,

Boring filler and you usually skip over it?

or Lush, calm ending?

it's all good. bestest release of 2004. it has tetra-sync
OMGOMG that song alone is enough to call it genius. Lush,
calm ending should be a statement not a question

I agree, which is why i made the transition post after i
posted this.

There is little "meat" in ultravisitor...the intro takes a
few minutes to get into the "good, juicy" main part of the
song, and even after that it's gone after a few cycles.

I love it! this track only grows better

hype that lasts about 30 seconds on this MB.

I like his music. As time goes on it seems like more
people get really critical of IDM artists, much like popular
celebs and what not.

You either totally hate em or totally love em, and some
people are willing to thro down for their opinion.

Heh,

yeah i kind of saw that in the idm championship this year.

it was creepy.

offline elusive from detroit (United States) on 2004-09-04 19:49 [#01324981]
Points: 18368 Status: Lurker | Show recordbag

That's kinda why I choose not to make music.

It's my own opinion, but usually when I get involved in a
hobby or sport etc, my idols of that subject/sport/hobby
usually start to diminish and the critisicm starts to come
out.

: /

Right now with IDM music, I don't really have any issues
with anyone....I like not being able to put faces with
artists; what they look like, etc.

Besides the aphex grin of course.

i think seeing anyone live enhances the love for someone.

Yeah, straight up, giving dope out props to the man Tom J,
keeping it real wit the mash up flavas, the jungle music and
widdly widdly bass whig outs, respect to the tracks that go
on a bit tooooo long, respect to the albums that have 2 good
tracks and then a load of wank, keep the IDM headz happy
hardcore with your inspired TOMfoolery, you beardy tool.

I enjoy his music very much.

Few tracks I don't like, but the best part about tracks that
I don't like is THAT I DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO THEM IF I
DON'T WANT TO.

considering hardly anyone can make half way decent music on

the only thing off uv that i enjoyed was that ummm, one

goes mad with a bass guitar or something

ultravisitor is an unispired piece of badly produced lounge
music ;)

i own it and cant stand it - seriously astonishingly
overated piece of shite :)

though the pathetic billy sheehan impression on the live
stuff half way through @ least has some comedy value
(assuming that its actually meant to be ironic that is ;))

quid extra for the limited edition. only tetra sync and 2
other tracks are 'meh'

If you are referring to the track 'Everyday I Love' then it
is a fantastic piece of music... I probably should have
included it in the 'perfect songs' thread. I wish I could
play guitar like that.

There are a couple of okay tracks and District Line II which
I really like. But I'll say again, his old stuff was so much
better. HND, MIRON, FMWT... all superior to his later stuff.

ultravisitor. Still, I don't skip the last two minutes of
that track at all.

the only track i skipped over or avoid is 50 cycles, or i
will ff until about 6 minutes in where is gets really good,
other than that this album is great, and squarepusher is
great, go see him live if you disagree.

True.

50 Cycles is the only track that gets worse the more I play
it. I hate all the high pitched streaks in it .... bleh i
want to hear the lyrics better

i actually like the vocal stuff, but the music for the first
5 minutes doesnt catch me, but after that 50 cycles is a
good track
i like f-train from dyksp, the music is better.

i like the forward momentum of his lyrics and the sound
behind them in 50cycles, but like I said, it isn't clear
enuff..to many breaks but those loud, high pitched
WEEEEEEHRERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrr.

pisses me off
