I hate it. But there are a lot of things it can do that wav lab can't. Like the SDS dumps work way better then WAVLAB.
Audio region sucks balls on it, but it is still a good starting point for when your breaking apart wav files. I guess what I should say is for WAV PROTERTIES, soundforge kicks ass, for editing and appling effects I think WAVLAB takes the cake.

i use 6.o,but it's almost the same...
i like every lil thing about SF...it's laid out pretty well,the locators work in a better way that on wavelab + it has some nice stuff like Tools,Special and Process section.
i doubt i could manage without it

yeah i think the effects are sorta lame :\ but its very precise when it come to editing.

the effects are only as lame as the person using them.
and most people do use plug-ins.

I like it but i also use it along side cooledit and a couple of others. I jump around through various programs to edit sound.
I might use 6-7 programs on just one .wav file if i deem it necessary. But then it depends what i am going for.
