The closing ceremony of the Athens 2004 olympic games was a
reunion of every nationalities... emotions, joy, all
together beeing happy during these times of terror.... how
incredibly touching.

the announcers pissed me off//.

"this aprt of the seremonie symbolizes wheat. there is
wheat" "this part symbolizes poeple dancing." sure it's
nice to hear what it's all about but it ruins the shit out
of the mood.

phantasy scene.

the eurosport english commentators were HORRIBLE... Talking
when they shouldn't... REALLY REALLY talking about british
athletes TOO much... i love Britain... but this was too
much.. getting names wrong etc... Example: " ohh!! The
England flag looks better than ever tonight".... argh!!! I
had to change channel at some point

no man really...the greeks aren't to themselves!
they sucked shitload of money from the taxes and now they
need to pay of debts for the OG.
i don't like that kinda policy.

i know what you mean though, but that goes for any olympic
city even before the secure the bid, and the point is a
certain man put a lot of money out of his own pocket for
athens.

i still hate the business side of it, and i'm by no means a
big sports fan.
