A ''concept'' ''electronic'' album about ''death''. And
some of the heaviest bass and beats I've ever heard...
oppressively heavy at times, shit. ''In Ruins'', daaaaamn.

You can order it from Strange Fortune. I only do this when I
fucking love an album, I think you should buy it. Yes, YOU.
If you're a fan of Akira Yamaoka's Silent Hill soundtracks
(the ambient but HEAVY industrial part of it), I think you'd
like this album.

Just wondering if anybody else has heard it, and what they
think about... you know, it's one of those albums you never
see talked about. It would make me feel warm and fuzzy.

i loved the tracks i've heard by them so far...they're hard
to get, but i haven't checked recently (time to do it
again).
crazy stuff...proper stuff to listen to on some gig/club!

i'll check this one for sure.

Yeah, Sturgis' dark ambient stuff is really quite good,
though I'm still a sucker for Blast Furnace. The ambient
sounds on that disc are also quite good, though they may go
unnoticed due to the very loud beats and squealing
distortion lines.

Gig/club! I wish there were some gigs over here with
Converter, all we get is fiddles. This is the kind of music
I listen to when I'm scrambling through an underground
cavern while a lava flow is closing in on me. Sort of like
some ultra-amplified Vlad Delay.

I think the parts with the complex beats are my least
favorite moments (it's all relative)... it's definitely the
skullfuck ambience that hooks me here.

You a fan of Tarmvred? His Subfusc release has some
stunning dark distorted ambient, though his tracks gradually
evolve into industrial noise tracks, the dark ambient stuff
is really top notch.

Haven't heard it, but I'll definitely check it out, thanks.
''Industrial noise'' is just what I'm going for lately,
scrapes and clangs and whirs and screeches. It'll go well
with my new Mamas and the Papas ''The Singles'' comp.
