man u r crazy.. fc kahuna is amazing band have u heard their whole album "machine says yes", its one of the best mainstream electronic albums of last couple of years, amazing productions, way better than the whole big beat scene... |

i don't think there are many people from london here... and, how many times have you seen afx live? i like festivals, it doesn't neccessarilly have to include afx, but it's a huge bonus if it does...i would go just about anywhere in europe to see him - except for uk, which is a bit too far, and i don't like planes to much. |

i saw him twice, and he was supremely crap both times but anywayz i dont understand whats the hype about him he had a couple of good records on the beginning of his career, lost the plot, became insignificant, and thats it |

well, your opinion is different to almost everyone else on this mb :), which is good in most cases - except when it comes to aphex twin. he'll always be #1 for me...and many others. perhaps you caught him on a bad gig (which is hard to belive) or something...i saw him twice as well, and loved it both times. as for his albums, well, drukqs is my favourite album by far. but the real quality of aphex twin are his live performances...no one comes close to what he's doing, at least i haven't seen anyone better so far...and i saw quite some. so, he's entitled to all the hype he gets, see :) |
