plaid - best track(s)?

I looked for a thread, but couldn't find any...
Have they made something "better" than "eyen"?
Have they made something quite like it?

thanks in advance.

is it good? I can get it for about 8€ (new) here... but I
thought people (on this board) didn't like spokes?

i love spokes, its one of my favorites. it gets A LOT of
backlash though, so maybe youll agree with the majority,
which is cool. but yeah, im a huge plaid fan and i think its
one of their best. its darker, bit more dissonant and
"faster".

as far as "best" tracks im not sure. also im not entirey
sure if any other tracks really sound like eyen, but if you
like that one id find it kind of peculiar if you didn't
enjoy some of the other works.

here are my favorites:

angry dolphin
kortisin
headspin
fer
forever
dead sea
gel lab
new bass hippo
tophapy
lazy beams
squance
assault on precinct zero
diddymousedid
stills
zeal
marry
buns

these are just some mind you, cause im a rabid plaid fan,
but those stick out.

intro to light rain.

that little "scratching" in the beginning is HOT on quality
speakers

well 8 euro is nothing. just get it. I bought the promo
version for 10 euro. wich is also a bargain. and I love
spokes. I don't really find their previous stuff very
interesting.

i'd throw out two off of rest proof clockwork: little people
and dang spot.

track #9 off of not for threes is good (ladykiller or
somethin like that?)

and there's a few pretty solid ones off of spokes.

with any given plaid album, you can usually play track #9
and end up with just about the best track on the album.

still, that said, little people and dang spot are the
greatest moments in plaid-dom that i have enountered.

I love plaid

I have:

not for threes
rest proof clockwork
trainer
double figure
p-brane
spokes
dial-p
peel session

all of this are excellent, but my favourite is double
figure, you have mentioned eyen as a track you like, well i
like eyen a lot but my favourite track there has to be:
"zala"

all the tracks in -brane ep are excellent, maybe it is my
favourite release, but as it is an ep.... I prefer double
figure... p-brane is more cohesive probably

spokes is great but not in first listen. I love "upona" of
course

Kortsin, Itsu, Sincetta... my trifecta of awesome. I like
their song titles, too... they're cute and exotic. They're
the Yin to Autechre's Yang, or maybe it's other way around.

Shit, I meant to say Eyen, not Itsu! I mixed them up because
they're both too adorable, the words.

Good to see you too, mon amis. I haven't been here in a
while, been busy with family, but I'm back and weirder than
ever. I'll hunt down the Freescha topic now.

"Spokes" doesn't flow too well as an album, but tracks
4,5,6,7 and 9 are some of the finest pieces of electronica
I've ever heard. Most of Plaid's stuff is lovely.
