sports are awesome... it's just fun to watch...
and I did hear something about the Dream Team losing or somethign... good... I hate it when competitions are basically already won before it starts, which is the way olympic basket-ball has usually gone... I hope Canada wins the gold in basket-ball! :P

the dream team hasn't been the same since 1992 or so though... when Michael Jordan and all those guys were there... but I guess more and more international countries have NBA players now, so it's getting more competitive... even Canada has one of the best point guards in the NBA in Steve Nash... so yeah, we're gonna win the gold!

The only reason you club-footed foreigners are even getting close to the USA is because most NBAers were afraid of terrorists and stayed home.

well, duncan and iverson are playing...they're pretty much the best thing nba can offer.
as for the rest; basketball isn't a sport for pussies :)

nba players are great players in the athletic way... but dont know how to play basketball as a team
with time nba is no longer insultingly better, they are still better than the rest.... they have to play really bad to loose (like today) but if they play fine, they win
but they are no longer as ahead of the rest as they were before
iverson listen to me: basketball is a team sport, its not one plays and 4 watch
in the rest of the world team tactics are much more evolved than in NBA
remember all that in last basketball worldcup usa lost against serbia, argentian and spain
and they were playing at home.
its true that briant and shaquille or kevin garnet are not in the team.... but thats also part of the problem usa has
still iverson, duncan, marbury, Stoudamire are great nba players (allstar players)

Iverson has always gotten on my nerves as a player because he doesn't play with the team... he just hogs the ball...
ok, so he's the go to guy, and the teams offense is based on him... but it was like that with Jordan when he was with Chicago, but he still played within the team, and made everyone else better... I never liked Iverson as a player...

hmm, iverson is my favourite player :)
"they have to play really bad to loose (like today) but if they play fine, they win"
"remember all that in last basketball worldcup usa lost against serbia, argentian and spain "
they also lost against italy before the olympics, and they had luck when they won germany. they lost today again, so my guess is they can't play fince any longer.
