haha, ok, I know I will get no positive responses here, but
ah well...

so, who likes Rush here? Ok so Geddy Lees voice is annoying,
but they're each amazing at their instrument... and some of
their music is pretty damn cool I think...

"Monday warrior, mean mean stride, today's Tom Sawyer mean
mean pride!"

ROCK ON!!!

I've only got 2112 but it kicks fuckin ass and I plan on
buying more soon. I've been on a huuuuuuuge classic rock
binge this summer.

if you like that you might like this big 3 disc live album I
have... it's called Three Stages, and has stuff from two
fairly recent live shows, and once disc recorded back in the
70's or something... but I believe they play the whole 2112
album on it... it's quite good...

my bad, it's called Different Stages...

and just a little glimpse of how much of a loser I am, I
programmed the entire bass part of the Rush song Leave That
Thing Alone in QBasic... I don't have the file anymore,
unfortunately! :)

la villa strangiato is also great.

in fact anything where geddy lee doesn't sing like an old
woman is OK.

It's an old, old tune. If you watch old (NON-TALKING
obviously) episodes of Tom & Jerry, it's actually used as
backing music in some scenes.

The backing music in the old T&J cartoons is excellent,
incidentally. It's perfectly synchronised with the action a
lot of the time.

It's used in the 'where bowling pins come from' vignette in
The Simpsons too.

Wow, I used the word vignette in a practical fashion. EXTRA
POINTS.
