How do i cook my dinner please?

Conseil de préparation. pour une meillure présentation, il
est important, avant d'ouvrir, de réchauffer au bain-marie.
Ensuite, verser le cassoulet dans une terrine et gratiner au
four quarante cinq minutes.

Say what?

Quarante Cinq Minutes = 45 minutes. Aside from that, i
haven't a fuggin' clue. High school french didn't teach me a
thing about french cooking.

You think I didn't try dictionary.com/translator already?
You'll notice all the important words don't translate.

bain-marie
n : a large pan that is filled with hot water; smaller pans
can be set in a bain-maire to keep food warm or to cook food
slowly

meillure= better

\Grat"i*nate\, v. t. [F. gratiner, v.i., to form a
crust.] (Cookery)
To cook, as macaroni, in a savory juice or sauce until
juice
is absorbed and a crisp surface forms.

Bain-marie.

But if it's canned cassoulet, you shouldn't bother with
that, I don't think it's really important. Just cook the
fucking thing.

Aw what a gyp. I thought this thread was going to be about a
special audiophile rig to make Edith Piaf sound good.

here we go:

before opening (I guess the tin can) pre-heat in
'bain-marie'. [bain-marie = mary-bath is a cooking technique
where you use boiling water in a sauce-pan to gently and
homogeneously heat your dish]. Then open the tin can, empty
your cassoulet in a oven-compliant dish ; put in oven for 45
minutes. 'Gratiner' is a verb I wouldn't use for a cassoulet
anyway.

enjoy.

I decided to just empty the tin into a dish and put it in
the oven. Then I tried to open the tin. It took me over an
hour and now my left hand shakes. There was quite a lot of
rust on the food but I ate it anyway and it was super
delicious. Then i drunnk losstst of beere

Thanks frenchies

probably, but a Fake And Unconvincing Stereo Effect can be
provoked from the recording if carefully yet sternly prodded
with Completely New Remastering Techniques.

You're right amh, I am a fool and a coward. I thought I
could beat the system but the system beat me. Also I think
the boiling water thing was nothing to do with opening the
can. What an absolute riot

Qrtr I retrieved the tin from my father, who may or may not
have retrieved it from a sunken ship. He is known to have
dealt with pirates but we prefer not to speak of it.
