he was giving a workshop with another guy from native
instruments. it was pretty interesting. he gave some
explanation in reaktor, absynth and traktor. I think I'll be
using traktor for my gigs. the way he used it was pretty
insane. it was this crazy track he just used as an intro to
his workshop. and he ended with a set. that was a bit
disapointing though because he didn't spin his own tracks,
just some techno. I dunno why he did that though. I think
because he thought he was in belgium people would like
techno more then his tracks. but it was cool.

yeah his live stuff is insane. he only played some asect
dsect type of stuff for a couple of minutes ...but wow. I
never heard the track he started with though. he also showed
some ensembles he made in reaktor and how he uses them live
or some rythem patches he made in absynth.

I don't think he was touring because I heard he flyed over
from the states to belgium for the workshops. I'm not sure
though. he could be promoting NI with the other guy through
out europe.

yeah only at the first 5 minutes he played one of his songs.
it was pretty insane though. he kept telling that his music
was to weird through out the workshop . I'd rather call it
impressive. but I think he did it out of respect. I guess he
wanted to keep things as accesible as possible for everyone.

yeah, he seems like a decent down to earth guy...i doubt he
wouldn't play it coz he'd think people wouldn't get
it...he's not pretentious as some other people in this
business :)

RD is awesome.

I'd love to meet him, esp since he does seem really down to
earth, and because he's so fucking talented.
