um, it normally works, so it's first time im experiencing
this problem and im not sure if it's temporary or im in the
shit...anyway, the problem is, when i ripp cds i usually
search for matching titles on cddb to ease the work...and
now im getting this message which doesn't tell me much...

so this occurs sometimes or do i have a problem?

looks like the cddb server is down.

"the connected party did not properly respond" etc.

try reinstalling the program that you use to rip.

I think if it takes more time than it would to just manually
type in the titles, then, well, I'd just, type them. Use the
old 5 Digit Interface

tolst. likes to rip every bit of sound he hears, so I can
see how spending a bit of time on getting this thing to work
could actually save his life.
