So people have actually been checking my page without me
posting anything... a lot of people... that's neat.

Anyways, since people have been bugging me for a new track
with more IDM flair... here's something I was working on a
while ago and cleaned up to give to you guys, enjoy!

The link to your track on the homepage does not work.
Listening now. Don't expect expert comments from me though,
I'm not experienced in music making.

I like the metallic drone sound and the strings very much
(I'm a sucker for good string sections).

The lead melody seems a bit too "sharp" in places though.
I'd prefer it if it sounded a tiny bit more round and
muffled so that it sounds more dreamy, almost ethereal
perhaps.

the second "it" refers to the track as a whole.

Lower/vary on the cutoff, that's my "expert tip" for now ;)

I'll shut the fuck up now.

Right on, thanks... I can't hear a lot of things the way I
master, so that's probably dead on since it was one of the
things I was thinking about... I'll fix and put it back up

It'd be nice if the lead melody was more muffled into the
background by lowering the cutoff frequency, perhaps bring
it more to the foreground on brief moments (you guessed it:
by increasing the cutoff). More delay would also help to
give it that dreamy sound I was hoping for.

But this is just a matter of my own personal taste and you
of course shouldn't do this if you feel it ruins your track.

Nice job, this is kinda like Trance meets IDM beats. The
sounds are well produced.

The melody that comes in around 1:31 is maybe like 2db too
loud.

Since its more like a dance tune I'd say its fine, but if
you really wanted to make it killer, perhaps some more chord
changes would help it a bunch.

btw: how's the live set going?

do you know that scion is the name of a very awful car
company?

they are trying to cater cars to different groups. not like
families, or middle aged men. more like the groups teenagers
are divided into in high school. it's pretty appalling. who
has $20,000 to waste on some clic gimmick?

well actually the concept about catering cars to different
groups is gay, but the cars themselves aren't so bad, and
its a subdivision of Toyota, so you know its decent quality.
I was actually thinking about buying a TC.

toyota, well that makes sense. i was wondering how a car
company could just start out of nowhere. i'd be a little
worried about the price of replacement parts for a new
company, since they won't be as common. they may use mostly
toyota parts though, so perhaps that isn't an issue.

Yes, I hate those cars... nothing to do with the name of the
piece

Yeah, 2/3 of the cars look like shit though. The TC is the
only one i liked. And they start at $17,000 brand new,
160horsepower, mp3 player, moonroof, etc. :P
