I've always wanted a powerbook, but still havent bought one.
Mostly because it will be much harder getting cracked
software, and as a poor student I can't afford buying shit.

I'm going to get one of these I think

I considered a Mac notebook but I think they're underpowered
and overpriced and I'd have to leave behind FL Studio.

For the same reason that bulldozers are ugly. They are made
to get the job done and crush the skulls of the weak and
foolish.

well powerbooks get the job done, and look stylish, as for
power... wait for the G5 powerbook.

do not get a PowerBook
i bought one brand new
it's been back in twice already, and it's about a month and
a half old
Apple even managed to scratch helll out of it on the second
return

and guess what? it STILL needs to go back in for repair
because they didn't fix it

Whats wrong with it?

DONT BUT ALIENWARE NOTEBOOKS.
I've said this many times before but it still stands.
Locking and forcing me to reboot at random.

I suppose you could but one if you wanted to, but I'm not
sure how that would work.

Kernel Panics all the time (suspected logic board failure)
DVD burner refuses to burn at 4x
display is weak structurally

Apple scratched shit out of the side, and didn't fix the
chassis correctly on second "repair"

thing that semi-yuppies think is stylish.

there should be an opposite of one of those things.. with a
picture, and oh so very softly, a lovely picture of Thora
Hird-like old lady drinking a nice cup of tea, her eyes
squeezed shut in enjoyment, with at a nice volume
"oooooh...lovely...".

(when I say Thora Hird-like, I don't mean in the decomposing
manner.)

that'd be quite relaxing actually.

the first bit, not the eroding bit.

yes, a picture of a decomposing old lady, slowly faded in,
with at a nice volume "ooooh...lovely..", might not do the
trick.
