every time i made the link, then previewed it and posted it,
then i got that obscure link (to the wrong site)

yeah ive been able to watch some of it
lance won 5 times, and is trying to break the record held by
3-4 people, 6 times, no one has ever done that

its amazing to watch, 100's of bikers within inches of each
other

does the wolfman image cause problems for anyone else on the
preview page?

it doesn't load for me (only on the preview page though),
and causes the page to just load for a while then it gives a
timeout error.

i think it's because it's looking for the background-image
on the old aphextwin.nu site.

i went to see giro (2nd biggest bike race, right after tour)
live some years ago...it was fantastzic to see the
competitors in that group, all burnt from sun, keeping in
that group close to each other even after 150kms...it's
amazing how can they stay focused on not making any mistakes
...imagine, if one would lose concentration for a second -
the whole group would go down...
i like virenque quite a bit...especially now that pantani is
no longer with us. anyway, i think these guys are among the
top world athlets.

btw, you know anything about that RAAM race accross america?
slovenian rider won this year...i think he needed like 8
days to come from west to east coast...imagine being on the
bike for 8 days straight, with only like 1 or 2 hour
sleep/day, night...when i saw some photos it was quite
shocking, it's perhaps more mentally demanding than
phisically...anyway, jure robic (the gguy who won) said he's
going again next year, and that he will try and improve the
8 days record...

There are two big suspenseful events I'm looking forward to
in the last week of the tour.

1. Lance possibly winning a record 6th Tour.

2. The massive drug busts around the time of the Alps
stages.
