Snowblind

hello! i'm planning on releasing an LP (>60 min.) in late
august or early september. please let me know what you
think of this track and whether you'd buy a professionally
printed copy of a release with similar stuff on it.

thank you all!

it sounds like the soundtrack to a low budget horror film.
not that's it's bad, but given the competition it's hard to
imagine there's a significant audience for this.

i think your time and money would be better spent on
refining your music or expanding your studio than a
professional release.

that's my honest opinion, but i can almost guarantee there's
someone on the board who will enjoy your track more than i
did.

hmm, i have to say i'm a bit surprised . . i think it's
possible you could say that after listening to the first 30s
or so, but otherwise i don't see the connection (horror film
etc.) thanks for being honest though. anyone care to give
a second opinion?

is this a black sabbath cover?

this is quite a neat tune you've got here.

i particularly enjoyed the second half. i think what could
make it better is some rhythm changes or counter-rhythms.
just something to make it a little more interesting. then
it would totally rock.

I like it
it has a lot to keep it interesting, some nice ass melodies
in there.

don't know if i would buy it but that's because i'm cheap

I really dig the melodies though.. good work!

i'm going to have to agree with that. it sounded like it was
trying to be spooky.

thats an awesome bassline, i love that little semitone drop
every now and again... get a double bass playing that
bassline and i would fork over money for it definately :)

very good song tho, congrats

Don't worry about what people say. If you had a great time
making this track, thats all that really matters 'innit? In
my feeble opinion I think its a nice track.

in all reality i think the majority of people make music in
hopes of other people hearing and enjoying it.

I'm speaking in utopian terms. I'm a dreamer like that.

But surely you must agree that if you're making music, you
make what you love eh?

thinks is an afterthought... so yes...

if you are referring to music in general i guess you are
right. but in reality people just try to imitate the things
they like, and in most cases aren't sucessfull. and when
they are, it just sounds like a rip off.

this is edition #2 in my series of depressing posts.

I was totally like that. I'll prove it. Im making a new
topic now so you can laugh at me

whew, thanks very much, everyone! i feel much less insane
now. i'm wondering if i should change the name (had no idea
there was a sabbath song . .) counter-rhythms are an
interesting idea, thanks r40f. i was considering putting a
live bass over the saw wave, thanks teapot! morguean, just
in case, it's probably going to be about $6-$8 shipped,
professionally printed, beautiful 4-panel color artwork . .
i think it's going to be a pretty good deal (: i'm putting
up a preview site with more tracks soon . . i'll let people
know.

thanks again!
