Go ride a bicycle in the sunshine. I did that today - went down to the old harbour where there's lots of crazy little paths and bridges - went behind this big old abandoned factory with grain silos, decided it was time to get a decent tape deck so I can force a door some night and make field recordings of the ghosts of workers killed there over the decades. |

yes, i know i should be grateful for running water, electricity, food, and a warm place to sleep. but i can't imagine another 50 years of getting up, working, passing the evening with trivial distractions, then going to bed before I repeat the whole process. |
