Go ride a bicycle in the sunshine. I did that today - went
down to the old harbour where there's lots of crazy little
paths and bridges - went behind this big old abandoned
factory with grain silos, decided it was time to get a
decent tape deck so I can force a door some night and make
field recordings of the ghosts of workers killed there over
the decades.

go for a hike
or just for a walk

a good walk always puts things in perspective for me

yes, sometimes my life sucks too
but it was given to me to do something with it
and i try to honor that by making the most of it

is that a franz kline in your avatar monoid?

life doesnt suck at all, what have you got to compare it
too... there is no standard... if being dead was parties and
getting laid in heaven then maybe i'd agree with you...

After 20 years on this earth you kinda realize that there is
no point to it all.......like playing a videogame you dont
really like, but in real life you cant just press
RESET....you have to stay till the bitter end....

thats not life, thats the way we're controlled by the powers
who have manipulated life to suit them. your smart enough to
realise this, so your not ignorant or anything, just be
strong and to hell with them by doing your own thing.

but dont get me started about work... fucking hell... arse
raped by the man 5 days a week, it aint fun i know... are
you studying or aiming for something better? if not you
should consider it... its something to look forward to, and
it gives you a good insentive...

Life is pretty cool. It's true that there's no point, but
that's not the point.

Buddhism recognizes the transitory nature that is inherent
in all of existence. Now, this really fucking sucks if you
find yourself a situation that you really love and hope will
stay exactly the same forever - however, this is great news
when you find yourself in the grips of a nihlistic
funk/existential crisis. It can only get better and it
actually probably will. Give it time. Ah - Cruel Fortuna and
your Wheel which you you spin!

opt of of life. that is my plan. quit work, read books,
listen to music more and do drugs and have fun as often as
is possible for a dole dosser to do so.

fuck jobs. enjoy yourself, y'know?

yes, i know i should be grateful for running water,
electricity, food, and a warm place to sleep. but i can't
imagine another 50 years of getting up, working, passing the
evening with trivial distractions, then going to bed before
I repeat the whole process.

Hi Monoid. Germans are prone to feeling this way, that is
why Germans are considered to have no sense of humour
'(although hitler had his moments [but he wasn't a german])'

i just hope that the end comes swiftly for you my child.

when you think of it like that its really depressing... i
think you need a hobby

Monoid you need to play a game...

I recommend Russian Roulette...it is so much fun. In my
version all you do is load a semi automatic pistol up,
release the safety, Hold it to your head and pull the
trigger.

i know you're right. now it's a matter of culling the fear
and getting motivated.
