Nice picture....
There is that Iron-maiden like monster that I get.... but I cannot express it or find an image...
It is like a half-dream.... Like Green things in matrix, just that things are more gray and everything has clear contures... It is like sharpening a face of queen elizabeth, converting it to a gray-scale and adding some horror scene in the background.... Like the scenes from a nazi camp or something....
That was come to daddy.
other songs such as aphex's piano solos give me an image of a fork stuck in a piano... Or an old wooden piano that has mice in it...

Once I thought I saw something similar to that monster while seeing a poster for a dreamcatcher movie..... for a split of a second I thought that FINALLY someone has come up with a good horror.... then I saw poster from a different angle and everything changed..... It was a fatamorgana.
I was dissapointed... the dreamcatcher I saw still exists in my head.... One frame that dissapeared. One frame that made me think that I will see the movie for sure.... it is all gone. Americans are still just Americans.
It made me SAD!

mmm I can never really associate music with actual people, haha. when i am just listening obviously.
Anyway, does anyone else here get these type of images, i really can't explain them, like, as soon as i close my eyes, theres an image i get, like just something, anything. it changes all the time. But when i actually think about it, i always get the biggest dejavu in my life. I still reember some images which i sometimes still get, usually just lying in bed, that when i think about the,m, it makes me really comfortable. strange i dunno.

for me its totally abstract. its a complex layer of emotion, feelings and .. stuff .. you cant describe in words
some stuff from SAW II is very sad and disturbing, mushy, dark/brown/green, old, 'theres-nothing-you-can-do-about-it'
this post officially sucks.

"maybe cos u enjoy listening to the sounds..."
There was one guy I kne who listened music by associating it to sounds he heard somewhere. IF he hears something that sounds like a squeeking door, he would be thinking "a squeeking door".
That completely messed me up when I tried doing the same, Especially when things started to sound like speech....

I definitely get some vivid mental images from certain albums/songs, but for me... everything has a COLOR. Every note has its own hue or shade. I see things through a colored hazy fog when I listen to certain albums. Sometimes it can be artificially influenced by album covers, but not always. Piper at the Gates of Dawn is so purple... Isn't Everything is so metallic blue.

everyone has their own private experience, its hard to really communicate in words because its a completely internal experience. but yeah, all notes have colours as well as a "height"
certain sounds have shapes as well, for example I envision drum beats as a flat circles usually.

I experience music more likely as feelings instead of thinking of images, but those feelings do result in beautifull colors and forms throughout my body. It's impossible to show.
