all I remember is one scene:

some guy, maybe a ceo or something, sits at his desk by a
window nervously looking at the only door of the room which
is locked I think. It's his office or something. The fbi or
someone is pounding on the door (I think it's the top floor
of a 2 story building) wanting to arrest him for something
bad he did. He pulls out a gun and aims it at the door
nervously, then finally puts the gun in his mouth and blows
his brains out. Or something like that. I can't find it on
google.

He is at a desk. A black woman is in there and he blows his
brains out shattering the window behind him causing (if i
remember correctly) papers to be blown around the room.

The movie is Eraser.

Ha! I think that's it, the shawshank redemption. Funny thing
is.. I've seen that movie lots. I associated this scene with
some other movie I thought was more burried in my memory. I
don't know why I didn't connect the two.

I did find another good movie I forgot the name of on google
(a simple plan) by searching for: movie, murder "never
kissed a girl"

There was this other good movie where this serial killer
type guy captured people by knocking them out by putting a
cloth dabbed with chemicals over their mouth, then he
burried them alive. I'm gonna try to search for that now.

Shawshank Redemption had so many wonderful scenes. And to
think it came from the mind of Stephen King -- I was
surprised to find that out.

Isn't it also true that John Coffey (like the drink) of
Green Mile fame is a telepathic alien who escaped from the
Dark Tower lands? I dunno, just seems like King is doing
this grand "Unified Field Theory o' Books"... :)

I stopped reading the dark tower right after the beginning
of #3, so I don't know about that. Most of stephen king's
movies suck, but shawshank redemption and green mile were
great. I guess it depends on the director or whatever.

True... did you see Dreamcatcher? I'm not exaggerating when
I say it is one of the worst films I've ever seen, if not
the worst. It was laughably bad.

Didn't see that one... I think I saw tommyknockers or
something... some movie with lame looking unscary zombies.
actually now that I remember "firestarter" was pretty good.
