hey, got a question for ya cubase users

a friend - drummer - has this setup with a drum module and
triggers on his drum kit.. you know, like those
fancy/expensive clavia ddrum kits

now what he wants to do, is record the midi output of his
drum module in cubase, and assign samples to the hits. the
midi output of his module is for example

bassdrum - A3
snaredrum1 - C4
hihat1 - F#4

all to one channel. now its supposed to be easy as fuck,
like assigning sampler channels to a layer in floops, but we
can NOT figure out how it works :\'

help would be appreciated - altough this post is pretty
vague i realize now :)

It's a vst sampler, I assume you have sorted out getting the
machine set up as an input in cubase, if so then you can
just use Kontakt on that channel and assign a sample to
those keys. You should be able to find it on soulseek quite
easily.

okay

yes everything is setup, we can record stuff to a channel,
its just like a baby hitting only C3 F#4 G4 for egg-zampl
