im staying seoul for a business trip. i never seen IDM lovers here. the korean music scene seem to be shit to me. i need mates here :( |

They've got a cool different scale to western music there, sounds like the instruments are detuned and playing "between the notes" till you get used to it. |

I feel that japan already has better flavour / girls than korea (but that is a matter of taste of course, and just my personal opinion)... But I am sure you will find something, not very uninteresting... I think I once heard a korean rockband... and they were good. It was hard rock/hardcore. |

korean women is using very much plastic surgery than japan. no... women's subject aside... of course. if even there is the internet, i can listen to favorite music. i wanna see IDM/Electronica live shows. but there is no such parties here. probably, IDM/Electronica lovers will exist in korea too. but where are they? dog_belch: i wanna do a live in Korea. but i have the confidence which makes all the listeners go home in 30 seconds :) |

You should go to the North/South Korean border and blast some squarepusher north-side.... followed bu somw SAW 2 just to really play with them. I'm in Japan in 5 days... i wonder what sounds i will hear! |

the dance music which flows all over the town in Seoul is really shit. it's poorly than japanese techno songs of 25 years ago. other technologies aside, i think that the music scene is very old. |

How can japanese say some other local music is shit? I watched NHK music show and to be honest, i'm afraid it was the worst I've ever seen in my life. The taste in color, sound color, dance, girlish boys.... very very weird to me. |

if "the Wire" magazine is anything to go by, there is tons of groundbreaking, underground, avante garde ... whatever, music happening in Japan. TV doesn't reflect that kind of music scene very well.... look at UK TV, fuck all IDM on yet the asmoutn of live IDM/underground music that is happening is massive! |

yeh but Japan and Korea are totally different countries. Like Japanese people and half japanese people are totally cool whilest Korean people are totally not cool. except for my buddy who is korean and is cool but actually he is mongolian so that's like different cuz they eat meats on sticks which is cool. |
