hey, got a quick question, i hope someone could help me

i need a tool to batch resize and recompress my photos - and
of course it has to be free :D

nice to see you again

this is used extensively for that purpose on unix
machines; I can't comment on the quality of the windows
version--hopefully worth a shot

Irfanview, been using it for years, it's flawless.
Anything less would be uncivilized.

Easy Thumbnails is a freeware app for batch resizing and
works fine for me.
