Holy crap, just getting into Devine and this stuff is incredible.
The sounds he comes up with is very eerie and incredible, I even somtimes feel nauscious when I listen to it, which is a plus.
The flying creature that flies into a wall on the left, during the start of freeze fracture is really ace.

I just got alemapper like 3 days ago and it just blows me mind. Its funny because when I was first getting into aphex, i would check the other artists samples at warp, and when I clicked through the Rich Devine samples I was like "pffft" but now my brain must be "trained" for this shit haha

Ah, and this whole time I thought the album was named after some sort of touristy floridian pub-crawl.

it's fun to read how he creates his tracks.
if I remember correctly he takes apart a sound and tweaks each tiny bit, in the end putting all the little bits back together again and put it on some vinyl or a ceedee.

Technically, and in terms of sonic construction he leaves most other artists standing though.

Are you sure that you are not mixing up "number of samples" with sample rate?

44100 samples per second is so passé.
I use 48000, if at all possible.
