Sometimes nothing is more fascinating than yanking a nose hair out and studying its coarseness on your finger. I grow these mean little guys? It’s very freeing to pull out too . . . i think i’m partially like one of those people that have that disease where you pluck your entire body bald.
Also, I’m digging on Polyphonic Spree right now, in particular the song “Hanging Around the Day” . . . very much recommended if you like dirty hippie music.

the polyphonic spree is strangely good. although their production is pretty bad. and the singers voice gets annoying after a few songs.
"La" rocks my world though.

the best thing is:
plucking one or more out, crying your eyes out, sneeze like you've never sneezed before. ultimate sneezing goodness.

Hehe well they recorded their album in something like 3 days didn't they? They re-recorded soldier girl and it sounds badass, makes the old one sound shite. I met the lead geezer Tim, I have his teeth marks imprinted in a promotional flyer on my wall (true!)

the polyphonic spree are actually well bathed, not dirty at all.
careful with those nose hairs, you can get terrible
infections from plucking.

i get ingrown nose hairs once every few years. a pimple will form on the outside, and when popped, the nose hair will come out. from the wrong side of the goddam nostril . . . it's the goddamndest thing ever . . . stops me in my tracks, wrought with bewilderment.
p.s. got themselves a dirty hippie audience though.
p.s. that first p.s. stands for polyphonic spree, not post script btw.

If you like the Polyphonic Spree & can stomach the singer's nasal voice for extended periods of time, then have a listen to "I Am An Elastic Firecracker" by his previous band, Tripping Daisy.
More psychadelic rock than out&out dirty hippy music, you can definitely tell that Tim Delaughter's hippy tendencies would outgrow the guitar, bass & drums format.

no, hippies are not good. certainly not when large numbers of them group together. individual hippies can often lighten the mood of a room full of cynics - but a herd of hippies is almost always bad news.

Death in Vegas' remixes of the Polyphonic Spree track, "Soldier Girl" are good. I'm not that keen on any of their other stuff though.
